Dear Nominees,
With 153 Voice Arts® Award categories, the sheer scope of excellence we celebrate each year is extraordinary. Because of this great breadth, only a limited number of winners can be brought to the stage during the live gala. Even so, we take tremendous care to ensure that every winner is honored with meaning and dignity, whether through the live Ovation Round or featured in the Winners Circle video and press room.
Every winner is photographed with the Voice Arts® Award trophy, interviewed on camera as they share their thoughts in the emotion of the moment, and presented with a beautifully crafted winner’s lapel pin. These moments become cherished memories, and many past winners who chose not to attend have expressed regret, realizing later how special it would have been to experience and preserve that moment firsthand.
We understand the desire to walk across the stage. It is a beautiful dream, and it means a great deal. But we also want to gently remind you of two powerful truths:
First, years from now, you and your family will treasure the lasting images and recordings of you accepting your honor, sharing your gratitude, and capturing a once-in-a-lifetime milestone in real time. That moment is irreplaceable, and it only becomes possible by being present.
Second, this celebration is about far more than a single win. It is about honoring the craft we all love, standing with a global community of artists, and supporting SOVAS, a nonprofit organization that brings this event to life each year against tremendous odds because we believe in elevating the careers, visibility, and futures of voice actors everywhere.
